We are interested in motivated Outside Sales Consultants to join our Team. As an Outside Sales Consultant with Blind Magic, you will be presented with warm pre-qualified leads for clients, in their home, generated by our Marketing Department’s efforts. Our Sales Consultants have tremendous potential to grow their repeat client base while earning generous commissions and bonuses. The Edmonton and area market is adding Hundreds of new households per week, who all are potential customers. The market is growing quickly, making this an attractive career in a company offering great income and potential for individual growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for providing a Gallery level class client experience from initial meeting with the client to follow up after installation of the product.
  • You will be visiting clients in their homes and offices to discuss their window covering needs and determine the best product that fits those needs.
  • You will utilize Blind Magic proven sales process to close residential and commercial leads.
  • You are expected to build a network of referral partners and builders to generate additional leads.
  • You will cold-call home-owners and commercial prospects to generate additional business.
  • Consultation and quoting customer based on their needs using our sales model.
  • Give and take time allows for additional time off for working extra hours.
  • Evenings and weekend consultations is the industry standard and is a benefit to the positions closing ratios and higher income.

Qualifications

  • High level working knowledge of the Hunter Douglas product line and Direct Connect order management system with a minimum of two years’ in-home sales experience.
  • Must be organized with excellent time management skills.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work Independently and with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Window Blind Installer - Residential and Commercial


We are looking for full or part time Installers to join our Team!

Job description

We have a need for additional ‘Experienced’ Window Covering Installers.

As an Installer with Blind Magic, you will be supported by our Service Department that will schedule all your appoints, follow up on any daily oddities and support you throughout the day.  Our market is consistently growing, which making this an attractive career for the long term while also offering great income and potential for individual growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • In general you will be responsible for Installation of Residential and Commercial window coverings. Inclusive of Hard Window coverings and Soft Draperies.
  • Independently Measuring, Installing, programming and trouble shooting of motorized window coverings.
  • You will be required to do Blind Repairs onsite or within our in-house service department as need basis.
  • Once the installation is complete you will be responsible for obtaining the necessary customer signatures, filling out the work order and collecting payment.
  • Flexible work schedule based on appointments.
  • Our ‘Give and Take’ program allows for additional time off for working extra hours.
